- Essie – Mademoiselle shade 112
- light milky pink/nude color
A perfect shade in a little bottle..
I’m not an avid nail polish girl but have quite a number of nail polishes in the vanity drawer. When it comes to picking up the nail polish, i get a bit picky as I don’t apply the nail polish that often- if it chips, it chips. I am too lazy to wipe off just one chipped nail and re-apply the nail polish. I just leave it until I want to totally change the color of my nails. So, an important factor in choosing nail polish are the drying time and how long it last without the re-apply.
I must have to say, this is my very first bottle of Essie nail lacquer. It seems like many people love this nail polish so I went with the hype basically. I usually play safe choosing Sinful Colors but, honestly, I didn’t know what to expect out of this nail polish. Of course, the range of color choice was very wide and all the colors were soft and lovely. The drying time of the nail polish was ‘okay’; it wasn’t drying fast nor slow. Only thing I did not enjoy about it was the coverage. I know this isn’t opaque color so shouldn’t expect it to cover the nail completely in first coat, but it looks like a transparent base coat in a one coat. Other than that, I love the color, and the lasting power. In fact, I purchased two other Essie nail lacquer(opaque colors), so will see how i like those! 🙂
